Since these glass pet urns are hand-blown, the size given is approximate. Care is given to make the urn as close to the size advertised, but this can not be guaranteed. The lids on the urns are made to be permanently attached once the ashes are interred in the urn. This is done with a bit of acrylic sealer around the edges of the lid.
